Personal Internet Marketing Assistant

 

$10 to $13 an hour (based on experience). I may consider a virtual assistant but my preference is for someone in Salt Lake City, so that I can do any needed training.

Here is the way to apply:

1. Go to the Christopher Westra Support Desk and tell them you want to apply for the Personal Assistant Job. Kadan will give you the FTP info you'll need for some of the tasks below.

2. Using Filezilla (or another FTP program), create a new folder on this ICreateJobs website. Name the folder with your first name.

3. Convert Your Resume to a PDF Document titled YourLastName.pdf and upload it to your folder.

4. Using any audio program (Audacity if you don't already have one), record a three minute audio in MP3 format titled firstnamelastname.MP3 and load it up to your web folder also. In the audio, tell me why you think you are qualified for this job.

5. Using a picture of yourself, cut it in half and load both halves up into your folder. Name the files firstnamepic1.jpg and firstnamepic2.jpg (or .png or .gif or other format). Make sure firstnamepic2 has rounded corners on all four corners before you load it to the web.

6. Create an html page titled firstnamelastname.html and load it into your folder. On the html page create links to all the other items in your folder. You may add any other items to this page - designs, colors, pictures, as long as the links are there.

7. Create and load another html page with a title of your choosing. On this page, tell me (without looking them up), the meanings of the following computer acronymns: HTML, USB, URL, PDF, SPAM, SEO and FTP. Also on this page, tell me the difference between a registrar and a web host.

8. When you are done with the above tasks, send another note to the support desk telling Kadan you are done, and he will pass this on to me.
